“It’s a Beautiful Day For Cancer”, de Al Bino, é a nova sensação australiana

O nome dele é Al Bino e o cara é a última sensação no cenário Hip-Hop da Austrália. O movimento cultural é aderido por jovens da periferia, principalmente os afro-descendentes, mas não para Al Bino, um cara que surge com uma proposta de som única, e uma coleção hip-hop com letras para “brancos”. Entrando no circuito internacional agressivo dos rappers, onde talvez o único branco de destaque atual seja o Eminem, o australiano Al Bino entra com tudo, com letras engraçadas e de protesto.
O primeiro single? “It’s a beautiful day for cancer” (É um lindo dia para o câncer.), foi feito em parceria com artista e produtor Lyrics Born, em uma trilha contagiante para o verão e garantiu lugar para Al Bino em alguns festivais pela Austrália em 2009. A música e o clipe são um tanto estranhos. Uma espécie de alerta para os branquelos de plantão nesse verão. Se realmente esse é um projeto de conscientização contra o câncer de pele causado pelo excesso de sol, parabéns! O vÃdeo foi postado dia 11 de Dezembro em vários locais como YouTube, DailyMotion, Break, AOL, Current, Buzznet, entre outros e, em menos de 2 semanas, se tornou a nova sensação, não só na Austrália, mas no mundo.
